As you may have read I'm trying to find !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , using the classical black&white M-sport roundel. I've found a guy that can create caps with a 3d-printer in any size/form with any logo I can come up with so I've let him make some Alpina centercaps to see if this is a workable solution:
And, aside from the size of the logo's which should be somewhat smaller (as the circlips cover the outer-side a bit), I think this is the way to go:
In this close-up you'll see what I mean with a somewhat smaller logo to not interfere with the circlips:
So the size/form I've found. Now for the desired logo, in case you don't know, it looks like this:
This classical M-Sport roundel only was mounted on centercaps of the eminent BMW M1 although it wasn't in color but plain Black & White, as seen here:
So I should be able to convert the colors to Black & White, especially now when I found these original M1 centercaps at a local BMW-specialist:
Finally a sub-projekt that's ending well and in time. Unless for some miraculous reason something is really wrong with the wheels (didn't have them balanced yet of course without the tires). And I still have to find proper tires for some better price than the Michelins I've found for 400+ euros each (185/70R13 H). That size I've only came up with Toyo TEO plus as an alternative but I'm not sure if handling of these is appropriate.

I can do the black and white render for you if you need it. Would be spectacular to get some thinner profile c clips that work so you dont lose any of the graphic. Regardless, good progress and looking good!

Would this fellow that 3D printed those caps be interested in some more work? Does he have a website?

Thanks for the offer, my brother (a graphical designer) is working at it at the moment so that's already being taken care of. The thinner c-clips are also a good idea, I was also thinking of having a different shape like the caps used nowadays (so with the thightning part on the other/inner side of the wheel) but then the 3d-printer guy has to do some work. But when the M-Sport roundel is as big as the inner-alpina logo I think I'm already a big step in the right direction.

Thanks for the offer but I already have those on my Alpina rims and those won't fit on the campagnolo's.

Subaru logo like you see on the grills, created to fit an Enkei wheel. If he's interested I can list specs of the caps (height, outside diameter etc.)

Okay, list the specs and I will ask.
